Oh, How the Mighty Retailers Have Fallen

There’s been a lot of talk recently about the number of businesses that will not reopen after the coronavirus pandemic—businesses that were only surviving because customers walked in the door everyday—businesses that failed when customers were required to stay home. COVID-19 isn’t the cause of these business failures. It’s just the event that pushed them off the cliff. 

What businesses will survive? There are valuable lessons to learn from big name retailers who folded their tents and went away because of bad decisions, goals that were unrealistic, too much debt, and an unwillingness to change with the times and trends. Chances are you’ll recognize most of these brands.
